Easy Planning

Every one of our opal and milk glass sign projects starts with a tracing of the sign opening for the letter and a few easy measurements.

Additional photos, broken pieces, or complete letters can be used to provide further details.

Consistent Results

The biggest benefit of our trade secret process is consistency. Your letters will look great and fit great every time – and at a great price.

Once the mold is made, it takes a full day to form a letter. Each is individually  heated to a molten state, vacuum formed, annealed, then slowly cooled.

Glass With Class

Produced by companies and names such as Flexlume Oplex (the inventor of these formed glass plates), Opalume, Opalite, Wissmach Raised Glass, and others, opal, or “milk glass,” signs were a game changer from the 1900s into the middle 1930s because of their beauty and unmatched legibility, day or night.  Their popularity was, unfortunately, short lived as neon, with its relatively easy production and flexibility, took the electric sign industry by storm.

A century later, these letters are again available for restoration, reproduction, and new signage needs.

Even just by talking with them on the phone, you can tell they have a passion for what they are doing. The work I've seen and received is first class. Looking forward to putting my Chevrolet back up and shining again!
